# 2. Create an app

**What you’ll do**: Create your personal or organization’s developer application on the Oten Open Platform.

**Why it matters:** Register your app information on Oten, enabling you to fully publish and manage your application independently.

**Steps**:

1. Input App name
2. Choose App type
