# Workspace quota

### Overview

When a Workspace needs different limits, the Organization Admin can create a separate Workspace global setting for that specific Workspace.

### How Limits Flow Down

              **Global Default Policy** <- you set this for all workspaces

                              **↓**

              **Workspace Global Setting** <- you override for specific workspaces

                              **↓**

              **Per-key Rate Limit** <- Workspace Admin sets, within your ceiling

**Example:**

* Global Default Policy = 100 RPM.
* Workspace A custom = 200 RPM. A key in Workspace A on default gets 200 RPM.
* A key in Workspace B (no custom) gets 100 RPM.

### Suspend and Resume a Workspace

**What Suspend does:** All API keys stop working immediately. No data is deleted — everything is preserved and restored on Resume.

**When to use:** security incident, policy violation, or project offboarding.

To resume: find the suspended workspace → click **“Resume”**.
