# Enable & Subscribe app for business workspace

This feature defines a two-step governance flow for application usage within an organization.\
Organization Admins control which applications are enabled for business workspaces, while Workspace Admins decide whether to subscribe and use those enabled applications within their own workspaces.

**What you’ll do:**

* Organization Admin**:** Enable an application for one or more business workspaces
* Workspace Admin**:** Subscribe an enabled application for their workspace
* Control application availability through a clear separation of responsibilities
* Ensure consistent and secure app adoption across the organization

**Why it matters:**

* **Clear responsibility separation:** Organization-level approval and workspace-level adoption are handled independently.
* **Stronger governance:** Prevents unapproved applications from being used in business workspaces.
* **Operational flexibility:** Workspace Admins can decide when and whether to use an enabled application.
* **Enterprise scalability:** Supports organizations managing multiple teams and workspaces with different needs.

**Steps:**

For Organization Admin:

1. Open [Oten Admin](https://admin.oten.com/) navigate to App > Oten Store.
2. Select the application to enable.
3. Choose one or more target business workspaces.
4. Confirm the enable action.

For Workspace Admin:

1. Open [Oten Workspace](https://workspace.oten.com/) navigate to App > Subscriptions
2. View applications enabled by the Organization Admin.
3. Select an application and choose **Subscribe**.
4. Confirm to activate the application for the workspace

**Common mistakes:**

* Assuming that enabling an app automatically activates it for all workspaces.
* Confusing organization-level enablement with workspace-level subscription.
* Subscribing an app without reviewing workspace needs or policies.
* Overlooking permission or role configuration after subscription.
