# 1. Register as an user

**What you’ll do:** Register to become an Oten user to interact with Oten Store.

**Why it matters:**

* **Individual account:** Choose this option if you’re creating an account for yourself and are not currently associated with any organization or company. For example, as an individual user, you can still explore and experience Oten freely.

**Steps:**

1. On the [**Oten Store**](https://store.oten.com/), click **sign in** to open the account registration page.
2. **If registering an Individual account:**
   * Follow the steps to [create an individual account](https://support.oten.live/support/user-guide/oten-account-management-app/create-personal-account) on Oten IDP.
3. **If registering an Organization Account:**
   * Follow the steps to [create an organization account](https://support.oten.live/support/user-guide/oten-account-management-app/create-business-account) on Oten IDP.
