# Sign up with Email and Password

This document describes how to **create an Oten Account** using available sign-up methods.

#### Purpose <a href="#purpose" id="purpose"></a>

This guide helps new users understand how to **create an Oten Account using an email address and password**.

Specifically, it explains:

* How to sign up with email and password
* What information is required during sign-up
* What happens after the account is successfully created

#### Prerequisites <a href="#prerequisites" id="prerequisites"></a>

Before signing up, make sure that:

* You have a valid email address
* You can access your email to receive verification messages
* Your password meets the required password criteria

#### 1. **Sign up with Email** <a href="#id-1.-sign-up-with-email" id="id-1.-sign-up-with-email"></a>

You can create an Oten Account using one of the following methods

* Navigation [Oten Account | Secure Your Identity](https://account.oten.com/)
* Click hyperlink [Sign up](https://account.oten.com/signup)

* Enter your E**mail Address** and **Password**

* I agree to the **Terms of Service** and **Privacy policy**.
* Click button **Create account**<br>

* Verify → **Email**<br>

The user signs in with a Google account, receives a verification code, and uses the code to verify the email address and complete account creation.

* Get **Code** from **email**<br>

* Enter the verification code to complete the verification

* Display → **Oten Welcome page**

**Noted** : After completion, you can sign in using your email and password.

#### 2. After account creation <a href="#id-2.-after-account-creation" id="id-2.-after-account-creation"></a>

Once your account is created, you can:

* Sign in to the application
* Update your profile
* Start using available features

* Email verification is required only once
* Google sign-up still requires password creation for email/password sign-in
* If you do not receive a verification email, you can request it again from the Sign Up page
