# Configure & trigger Panic

**What you’ll do:** Invite people with roles and optional share password/expiration.

**Steps**

1. **Share** from the vault menu → **Authenticate** (5 wrong attempts → 5-minute lockout).
2. Enter recipient emails (validation + de-dupe are automatic).
3. Choose **Role** (Viewer/Editor); optionally set **Share Password** and **Expiration**.
4. **Send** invites.
5. If a recipient hasn’t set up the app, they’ll see: **“Please finish setting up Stealth Vault to access this share.”**

**Constraints (defaults)**

* Up to **5** recipients per action.
* Invalid emails are blocked: **“Enter a valid email.”**
* Emails deduplicated case-insensitively.

**Common mistakes**

* Sharing primary slot content unintentionally—review before sending.
* Using the same share password across unrelated shares.
